|
ATS314 JAPAN :
The high quality stainless steel produced by Hitachi, Ltd contains 15% chrome , 4% molybdenum. It has excellent quality in processing ,corroding resistance ,damage resistance and toughness of the blade are several times higher than those of 440C steel, however, the price is much higher. It is regarded as one of the best material for reamer and has been the main source of hand-made and excellent reamers. The hardness is up to HRc60~62 after heat treatment。
